Baptist Health in Northeast Florida demonstrated a retention rate for staff who attended the Spirit of CareGiving® of 2-3 times that of those who did not (p <.05) consistently over a period of eight years. "If you think about the cost of orientation of staff, especially clinical staff, it's clear we have realized a significant return on our investment--conservatively $300,000 per year saved in orientation costs," says Diane Raines, Chief Nursing Officer.
